But today we gonna see it's application as Fish Stunner. Which is cheap and reliable, if we google fish stunner circuits, it seems like the results are specific to ordinary DC to AC power supply which you can try but I can't guarantee it's reliability.
The circuits above are found online and not yet tested. But i'm gonna make on of my own version which the parts can be bought or salvage from any electronics junkyard. Moreover, my version has been tested and able to stun fishes, mostly scale-less fish like catfish.
Here is the first version...
Fish Stunner mk-1
Here is the circuit...
The Circuits.
2x MJ2955
2x TIP32C
2x 1k resistor
2x 220 resistor
1x Center-taped transformer
Then it is placed is a plastic case...
Here is another prototype of Fish Stunner mk-1 in metal case, since plastic case is ugly...

That's all then, on next post I'll post pictures of my dad using the fish stunner (since he really love fishing activities) and me who caught the fish. By the way, now I'm doing the Fish Stunner mk-2 which it has additional power and more efficient and better switching. I'll make post about mk-2 after it finish.
Speaking about fish stunner, on the upcoming(after I'm back from hometown) post I'll show you my inspiration interest device about fish stunner which is the first inverter I've met and learn from it since 12 years old. Interesting fact about it is, it is non semiconductor component inverter or people called is analog inverter (guess how it invert DC to AC). I'm sure some of old people like 60's and 70's ever seen it until it is replaced by semicondutor based inverter.
kudos!
